AVOCA is an old celtic word that translates to "Great Mouth." Local owners Garold and Jimmy have been friends since grade school. They have worked together to bring AVOCA coffee to life in the historic Near Southside of Fort Worth, Texas. Garold and Jimmy share the passion of bringing excellence to locals by locals.
Our coffee is an artisan micro roast perfected through detailed work, method and obsession. All of our products are judged by how it is grown, gathered and treated. We use organics when possible and direct trade is a priority. AVOCA is about a seed to cup philosophy.

Owners
Jimmy Story was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. He has gained an appreciation of quality work and the effort put into striving for perfection. "Story" takes pride in watching others enjoy what he has created.
Garold LaRue's family has been in the coffee business for five generations. He has personally been working with coffee for 14 years. His passion for roasting premium coffee brings a new aspect to a traditional coffee house.
